Microsoft have to be on drugs to think the name Edge meant something when IE was the best, and losing a great stand alone IE icon and its meaningful browser that stood the test of time and still going strong and independent, whereas Edge is nothing but a dull white screen with virtually no colours, can't be changed to what you want and it is similar to Chrome in appearance. I loved Internet Explorer because it was a browser with great features and its name meant, exploring the internet and that's what it was for, to explore the Internet. Try that with the sh!tty Windows 10 and other rubbish, 11 Then came Edge, another rubbish similar to Chrome.

Plus, Windows 7 had Windows XP/64 incorporated in Windows 7/64. Then Windows 10 came in and goodbye to the great Windows 7, the best OS still in use today because it is a proven OS that has an unbelievable amount of features and options nobody really want to part with it. Whereas, on smartphones, only the fingers do the tough/keying on screen to access information. Soon the crowd (consumers) found it tiring to use their arms, hands and fingers to lift, point and touch on screen in a seated position just to access information, and the touch screen idea was abandoned with the mouse returned back on desktop usage. Windows 8 was the first PC to have a touch screen with large icons that you touched like a smartphone, biggest mistake made by those weirdos at Microsoft, thinking the crowd would have liked the idea of a large smartphone on PC screen.

If the idiots add Apps on computer, then they are confusing the Apps on Smartphone with the programs with Application icons added on Windows 10. Get your English right! App, as in Application, are mobile icons specially designed for smartphones. Is this for computer or mobile? If it is for computer, then it's not an app, but a program.
